ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE BOARD MEMBERS SOLICITATION

Three rivers Island HOA is currently soliciting candidates for the Architectural Committee.  Architectural Committee will be comprised of 3 members.  Qualifications and responsibilities of Architectural Committee members are shown below.  If interested please send an email to 3rihoa@gmail.com no later than July 31, 2024.  If you have any questions please email to 3rihoa@gmail.com.  The HOA board members will review all submittals and appoint members.

QUALIFICATIONS

All persons wishing to apply to be on the Architectural Committee for the Three Rivers Island HOA must meet the below qualifications. 

  • Must be in good standing with HOA.
    • No past HOA dues owed
    • No current violations
  • Must be able to read, interpret and understand HOA restrictions.
  • Must be able to read, interpret and understand proposed sketches/drawings for construction/renovations.
  • Must be able to communicate with people on a professional level.
  • Must be able to set goals and meet dates

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main goal of the Architectural Committee is to monitor all construction/renovations on Three Rivers Island, keep accurate records/files of all projects and report to HOA Board.  Below are the main responsibilities.

  • Construction/Renovation
    • Review proposed plans for construction/renovations to assure they meet HOA restrictions.  Approve or Disapprove proposal within 30 days of application submittal.
    • Monitor construction/renovation on island.
      • Verify all construction/renovation has secured Architectural Board approval before beginning.
      • Send out cease notices for construction/renovation if approval was not secured before beginning.
      • Monitor HOA time length of construction and advise HOA board when time length has been exceeded.  Architectural Committee can grant extension of time line for good cause per restrictions.
      • Keep current excel file and hard file on all construction/renovation projects.
      • Verify adjacent lot owners have approved all exterior construction/renovation plans
  • Fencing
    • Approve all fencing prior to installation and per restrictions
  • Yard maintenance and landscaping (assist HOA board with this)
    • Monitor overgrown yards and once weeds or grass are over 12” high send out certified letters for lot owners to cut grass.
  • Island Work Day
    • Commit to making one of the two annual island work days to show the HOA commitment to keeping up the island.
